Experience doesn't override positional responsibility
In this episode, you will learn:
-
Respecting the Authority of Current Leaders – Experience is valuable, but it should not be used to undermine or overshadow those currently in leadership positions. Supporting them rather than taking over ensures a healthy leadership structure in Adventist youth ministry.
-
Mentorship vs. Control – Experienced leaders should serve as mentors rather than dictating decisions. Guiding and advising without taking authority away from current leaders allows for growth and development within the ministry.
-
Trusting God's Appointed Leadership – Leadership is about calling, not just experience. Even if a leader is less experienced, God can still use them effectively. Those with more experience should empower and uplift rather than override their leadership.
